Let us start by saying we are in the middle of nowhere. So be prepared for a beautiful and relaxing drive.
When you are getting close your cell phone may go out and you may want to turn back, but don't…you are almost there.
As you get out of your car you will wonder why in the world be all the way out here, but by the time you leave you will understand.

Directions From Birmingham
Take I-59N to Exit 205 Collinsville. Exit Right. Take this to red light at Hwy 11. Go left. Travel several miles.
Turn right on County Road 81. There is a BBQ Place and a large sign for Akins Furniture Store at this turn.
This will go over train tracks and up Lookout Mountain. At four -way stop (Dogtown), go straight.
Travel about 2.6 miles to County Road 127 (Lickskillet) and take right.
This is the first right turn after Mt. Moriah Church (nice small brick church on right).
Go about 3 miles and turn right on County Road 275 . Watch for the “Orbix”sign at the turn.
There is an extremely STEEP hill just as you turn right.
Go down steep hill and cross Johnny’s Creek. Orbix is the first right after the creek.
There is a sign on the fence and you will see the studio and gallery from the road.

Directions From Huntsville
Take US-72E; go approximately 38 miles
Take AL-35/Veterans Drive ramp toward AL-279N
Merge onto Veterans Drive/AL-35 South toward Fort Payne
Turn Right onto AL-35 South; go through Rainsville and when you go under I-59 go about a mile until the road makes a “Y”
Veer right at the “Y” and merge onto Highway 11 South; go several miles until you see a white church and an “AKIN Furniture” sign on the right AND a Pure Station/BBQ on the left. Turn left ---this is County Road 81.
Go over train tracks and go up Lookout Mountain. At the four-way stop (Dogtown) go straight. Travel about 2.6 miles to County Road 127 (Lickskillet/Mount Moriah Baptist Church) and turn right.
Go three miles on 127 (which will become Cherokee County Road 43). Turn right and go down a VERY steep hill. Orbix is the first drive way on the right.

Directions from Chattanooga
Take the 2nd Fort Payne exit off I 59S. Turn left.
When you approach the Mcdonalds on left, stay left, going through the light and passing Alabama Fan Club.
At stop sign go left on Hwy 11.
Turn right at light on 3rd Street. This will take you up the mtn to Five Points(a five way stop) where there will be a gas station. Turn right.
In less than one mile turn left on Jennings Road/ County Road 127 (there will be a brown sign pointing to Little River Canyon.)
Drive 5-7 miles to stop sign at Lickskillet. Go straight through intersection.
Drive 3 miles, passing Black Oak Church. As the road narrows and begins to go downhill, you will see a gate on the right with two yellow posts.
Take the right turn after this gate. It will be an extremely steep hill that crosses Johnny’s Creek. Watch for the “Orbix”sign at the turn.
There is a sign on the fence and you will see the studio and gallery from the road.

Directions from Rome, GA (for Atlanta visitors)
Head west towards Centre,AL on Georgia Hwy. 20
This changes to AL Hwy. 9 towards Centre
Turn right on Hwy 35 and travel around 11 miles, turning left on Hwy 273
Turn Right onto County Road 47, this will take you up Lookout Mtn.
Be sure to stay right where the road changes to County Rd. 43 (Starling Gap)
Follow the next sign for 43, making sure to go right/straight as the main road veers left.
At stop sign, go left. The second gravel drive on left is studio/gallery.
